After our flights with United Airlines from Duesseldorf, Germany to Washington DC and from Washington DC to McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada, we arrived at about 8:30 pm, at the Luxor Hotel, where we stayed the first two nights.
At Luxor Hotel we meet our friends Marilyn and Herman from California. They joined us the next two days in Las Vegas. This was the begin of a very good time.

Inside Luxor Pyramid
The Luxor is a black glass pyramid which reaches 350 feet (107 m) into the sky and is 36 stories tall. Luxor is home to the world's largest, 30 stories high, atrium, measuring 29 million cubic feet (820,000 cubic meters). Luxor has 4,407 rooms, making it the third largest hotel in the world. All rooms are located in the outer shell of the pyramid or in one of the two 22 stories high towers attached to the side of the pyramid. The beam in the top of the pyramid is the brightest beam in the world. It is comprised of 45 Xenon lights, with 7,000 watt for each lamp. Together they get a light of 40 billion candlepower, that's over 500 billion Lumens.
